Established over four and a half  years ago, HIMEC is a fully licensed electrical contracting company. We are a local, family-owned business offering a range of consultancy, design and installation services to both industrial and mining construction sectors in Withcott, Lockyer Valley, Toowoomba and the surrounding districts.

Owner and director Clive Nuttall-Smith has 36 years’ experience in electrical installation and design, having co-founded a leading Zimbabwean electrical business, High Voltage Construction, in 1985. Clive migrated to Australia in 1999, before becoming an electrician and electrical supervisor at Wagner in 2004. Here, he was responsible for designing, drawing, installing, testing and commissioning electrical installations until he left in 2011 to establish HIMEC.

Having developed a diverse range of skills and experience over the past three decades, Clive is focusing on providing a high quality service for all his customers. 

Here at HIMEC, we offer a number of services including Industrial, Commercial , Domestic and Farming.
We offer a fast and friendly service, and our after-hours service means we are always on-call in case of any emergencies.
